Very important is a road loss of second ranked SpanishFC Barcelona (15-7) against fifteenth ranked Turkish Efes (9-13) on Thursday night. Visiting FC Barcelona was crushed by Efes in Istanbul 98-74 . Four Efes players scored in double figures. Efes' coach felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 14 points and 4 assists by Serbian forward Nikola Kalinic (203-1991) did not help to save the game for Barca . Center Willy Hernangomez (210-1994) added 18 points for lost side. Defending Turkish champion moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Defending Spanish champion Barca keeps the second position with seven games lost. They share it with Virtus.
