Clark's 34-point game gives him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

32-year old American guard Donte Clark (194-G-1994) put on an amazing game in the last round for TRIA EKA AEL Limassol and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
He had the game-high 34 points adding four rebounds and four assists for AEL in his team's victory, helping them to beat Paralimni (1-1) 89-77. AEL is placed at 5th position in Cypriot league. AEL is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. In the team's last game Clark had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range. He turned to be AEL's top player in his first season with the team. Texas Southern University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Clark is in league's top in points (4th best: 21.5ppg).

Second best performed player last round was George Beale (193-G-2002) of Enosis Neon Paralimni. He is American guard in his first season at Paralimni. In the last game Beale recorded an impressive 37 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Paralimni lost that game 77-89 to AEL (1-1). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Beale is a newcomer at Paralimni and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 31.5ppg (#1). He also registered 4.5 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Stefanos Iliadis (185-PG-1994) of BC Apollon Limassol (#6). Iliadis scored 27 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. He was a key player of Apollon, leading his team to a 90-88 win against Achilleas K. (#8, 0-2). Apollon needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 1 victory and 1 lost game. Iliadis has a very solid season. In 2 games in Cyprus he scored 16.5ppg.
