Huntley-Hatfield's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

22-year old American forward Brandon Huntley-Hatfield (185-F-2003) put on an amazing game in the last round for Keravnos Strovolou and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
He had a double-double of 21 points and 18 rebounds, while his team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team Paralimni (#10, 0-2) with 16-point margin 86-70. Keravnos is placed at 6th position in Cypriot league. Keravnos is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. Huntley-Hatfield turned to be Keravnos' top player in his first season with the team.

Second best performed player last round was Yazid Powell (193-G) of Etha Engomis Nicosia. He is American guard in his first season at Etha. In the last game Powell recorded an impressive double-double of 27 points and 12 assists. Of course he led Etha to another comfortable win 95-80 over Achilleas K. (0-2) being unquestionably team leader. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Powell is a newcomer at Etha and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 26.0ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 5.5rpg and 8.0apg.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Jamarii Thomas (183-PG) of BC Apollon Limassol (#9). Thomas got into 30-points club by scoring 37 points in the last round. He went also for four assists. Despite Thomas' great performance the Apollon lost 88-90 to APOEL (#2, 2-0). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Thomas has individually a great season in Cyprus. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.0ppg (6th best).

8. Ismael Plet (203-F) of Apollon - 16 points and 12 rebounds
9. Phil Henry (203-F-1991) of APOEL - 19 points and 9 rebounds
10. Kuany Kuany (210-F-2000) of Anorthosis - 23 points and 6 rebounds
