Rawls' 32-point game gives him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

24-year old American guard Jordan Rawls (188-G-2001) had a very impressive game in the last round for Enosis Neon Paralimni and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
He had the game-high 32 points adding three rebounds and eight assists for Paralimni in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Apollon (#9, 1-4) 88-84. Paralimni is placed at 5th position in Cypriot league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost two games earlier this season. Paralimni will need more victories to improve their 3-2 record. In the team's last game Rawls had a remarkable 61.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be Paralimni's top player in his first season with the team. New Mexico State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Rawls is in league's top in points (4th best: 21.6ppg) and assists (2nd best: 6.0apg).

Second best performed player last round was Travis Taylor (203-C-1990, agency: Slash Sports) of TRIA EKA AEL Limassol. He is American center in his first season at AEL. In the last game Taylor recorded an impressive 23 points and 8 rebounds. Of course AEL cruised to a 88-79 relatively comfortable win over Etha (2-3). AEL's 7th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-3 record. Taylor is a newcomer at AEL and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Yazid Powell (193-G) of Etha Engomis Nicosia (#8). Powell showcased his all-around game by recording 27 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists in the last round. Despite Powell's great performance the Etha lost 79-88 to AEL (2-3). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Etha ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 3 games, recording just two victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Powell could help Etha to bring them higher in the standings. Powell has a great season in Cyprus. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.6ppg (2nd best) and assists with 6.4apg (best passer).
