Todd Withers (ex Rams) joins Rostock

Rostock Seawolves (BBL) have agreed to terms with 30-year-old American forward Todd Withers (202cm-98kg-1996, college: Queens, NC) for the new 2026-27 season. He played last season with Rams in the New Zealand NBL league, where he averaged 12.5ppg, 5.7rpg, 1.4apg, and 1.9spg in 16 games.
He is a quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in ten different countries. Withers tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Australia and of course North America. He has played professionally in Australia (Adelaide 36ers, Wildcats and Senators), Israel (Hapoel Holon), Italy (Fortitudo Flat Service Bologna), Turkey (Darussafaka), NBA (Detroit Pistons), Lithuania (Rytas), NBA G League (Texas Legends and Grand Rapids Gold), NBA Summer League (Detroit Pistons) and The Basketball Tournament (D2 Waymakers).
Among many awards, he played in the final of Australian NBL1 West in 2025. Withers was also voted Australiabasket.com All-Australian NBL1 West Defensive Player of the Year in 2025.
He graduated from Queens University in 2018 and is entering his ninth season as a professional player.
