Promitheas ink Joseph Young

ASP Promitheas Patras (GBL) signed 30-year old American guard Joseph Young (188cm-84kg-1992, college: Oregon, agency: MSG) for upcoming 2022-2023 season. Young played last season at Birmingham Squadron (NBA G League) in the U.S. In 46 NBA-G-League games he had very impressive stats: 18.2ppg, 3.5rpg, 4.8apg and 1.3spg. The last season he played at Royal Fighters in Chinese CBA where in 47 games he recorded also remarkable stats: 25.1ppg, 5.0rpg, 6.1apg and 1.4spg in 2020-2021 season.
In 2015 he was drafted by Indiana Pacers (NBA) in second round (43rd overall). The former University of Oregon star is in his eighth season in pro basketball.
He has played also professionally in NBA G League (Fort Wayne Mad Ants), China (Monkey Kings) and NBA Summer League (LA Lakers).
Young could be described: Athletic player who has the ability to develop into a combo guard. Outstanding shooter who also has a mid-range game and can get to the basket. Quick, long athlete with the potential to become an outstanding defender.
