Zaragoza keeps Bankole for another season

Casademont Zaragoza (LF Endesa) re-signed 28-year old French ex-international Ornella Bankole for the new season. She played there last season. In 34 LF Endesa games, she averaged 8.4ppg, 3.2rpg, and 1.6apg. Bankole helped them win the Supercup and reach the league final. She also played 18 games in Euroleague, where she had 6.5ppg, 2.8rpg, and 1.1apg. The previous (2024-25) season, she played at Charleville-Mezieres in France.
She was also a member of the French international program for some years. Bankole played for French Senior National Team between 2019 and 2021 and previously for the Under 20 National Team back in 2017.
She has also played in Poland (Lublin) and France (Bourges, Basket Lattes Montpellier Agglomeration, Calais, Centre Federal BB Paris, and Elan Chalon) and Spain (Girona).
Among many awards, she was voted Eurobasket.com All-French League Domestic Player of the Year in 2022.
