Valencia keeps Romero for another season

Valencia Basket Club (LF Endesa) re-signed 31-year old 173cm guard Leticia Romero (college: FSU) for new season. She has played there for the last seven seasons. She helped them to win the League title (three times) and the cup. It was a very successful season in her career as she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish League Third Team. Romero played 12 games in Euroleague where she averaged 7.8ppg, 3.2rpg and 4.9apg last season.
In 2017 she was drafted by Connecticut Sun (WNBA) in second round (16th overall).
The former Florida State University standout is in her tenth season in pro basketball.
She was also a member of the Spanish international program for some years. Romero played for Spanish Senior National Team between 2014 and 2024 and previously for the Under 20 National Team back in 2015.
She also represented Spain at the FIBA Olympic Games in Paris (France) two years ago. During this event she scored an average of points per game and had 1 rebounds per game.
Romero has played also professionally in USA, WNBA (Dallas Wings) and Czech Republic (USK Praha).
Among many awards she was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish League All-Domestic Players Team in 2025. She played also for University of Kansas State for one year.
