Azerbaijan held off Luxembourg to open win count in San Marino. Roderick Anderson (185-G-2004) was unstoppable with 39 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Azerbaijan grabbed a 26-16 lead after ten minutes. Luxembourg surged ahead in the third term as they sank 27 points. But the Azeri went on a 20-12 run in the fourth period to snatch the win. Ali Hasanov (187-G-2004) had 14 points for the winners. Isak Semedo (190-F-2004) answered with 28 points for Luxembourg.
Monaco - Albania 82-56
Monaco cruised past Albania in the opener. Monaco dominated from start to finish. They established a 41-18 halftime lead. They poured in 41 points in the second half and raced to the victory. Eithan Zerbib (187-PG-2005) posted 28 points, while Matis Moncada (188-G-2004) added 20 points and 12 steals for the winners. Enzo Zotaj (200-F-2004) answered with 19 points for Albania.
Moldova - Gibraltar 70-40
Moldova knocked down Gibraltar for 1-1 record in Group B. Moldova registered a 35-18 halftime lead. They controlled the tempo in the second half and eased to the victory. Massimo Macaru (194-F/G-2005) tallied 17 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Matvey Celecia (191-C-2005) answered with 15 points and 9 rebounds for Gibraltar.
San Marino - Malta 51-66
Malta outgunned San Marino to improve at 1-1 record in Group A. The hosts posted a 20-11 lead after ten minutes. But Malta answered with a strong rally in the next three periods and secured a comfortable victory at the end. Connor James (191-G-2006) accounted for 24 points and 13 rebounds, while Neil Cassar (167-PG-2004) added 14 points and 13 rebounds for Malta. Filippo Ricciotti (183-G-2004) responded with 19 points for San Marino.
