Quarterfinals

Denmark - Holland 85-59
Denmark cruised past Netherlands to advance into the semifinal stage in Romania. Denmark opened a comfortable 50-26 halftime lead. They kept Netherlands at bay throughout the second half and rallied to the victory. Tobias Jensen (180-SG-2004) notched 14 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists for Denmark. Nathan Ahner (198-G-2004) had 12 points in the win. Latif Diouf (202-F-2005) answered with 11 points for Netherlands.

Finland - Portugal 73-69
Finland toppled Portugal to reach the semis. Portugal dominated in the first half. They established a 42-31 halftime lead. But Finland turned things around in the second half. They went on a strong 42-27 rally to snatch the victory. Miro Little (196-G-2004) came up with 21 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists for Finland. Diogo Seixas (199-SG-2004) notched 28 points and 9 rebounds for Portugal.

Romania - Sweden 56-77
Sweden knocked down hosting Romania in the quarterfinal clash. Sweden grabbed a 37-28 halftime lead. They went on a 23-12 rally in the fourth period to snatch the victory. Tunde Vahlberg (201-SF-2004) provided 28 points in the win. David Patru (186-SG-2004) answered with 16 points for Romania.

Bosnia - Iceland 89-95
Iceland outscored Bosnia to enter the semifinal stage. Bosnia posted a 30-25 lead after ten minutes. But Iceland responded with a 49-35 rally in the next two periods to spur ahead. Bosnia narrowed the deficit in the fourth frame but could not avoid the loss. Almar Atlason (202-F-2004) posted 22 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists, while Tomas Thrastarson (197-G-2005) and Daniel Halldorsson (183-G-2004) added 17 points each for the winners. Harun Zrno (198-SG-2004) tossed in 30 points for Bosnia.
