Cardet Jr.'s 30-point game gives him B Red Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

25-year old American guard Wesley Cardet Jr. (198-G-2001) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Zalakeramia ZTE KK and receives a Hoops Agents B Red Player of the Week award for round 6.
He had the game-high 30 points adding eight rebounds and four assists for ZTE KK in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Tiszaujvaros (#6, 3-2) with 27-point margin 97-70. It allowed ZTE KK to consolidate first place in the Hungarian B Red. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but ZTE KK already had a very good start winning all 6 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Cardet Jr. had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be ZTE KK's top player in his first season with the team. Providence College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Cardet Jr. is in league's top in points (4th best: 20.0ppg), assists (8th best: 5.0apg) and averages solid 56.1% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Botond Nagy (178-PG-1994) of BKG-Prima SE Akademia Debrecen. He is a guard in his 10th season at BKG-Prima. In the last game Nagy recorded an impressive double-double of 34 points and 10 assists. Of course he led BKG-Prima to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked DEAC U23 (#7, 3-3) 97-64. This victory allowed BKG-Prima to move up to 3rd position in the standings. His team's 4-2 record is not bad at all. Nagy is one of the most experienced players at BKG-Prima and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 26.0ppg (#1). He also recorded 6.5 assists per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Levente Kovacs (190-G-2004) of Ujbuda MAFC (#4). Kovacs scored 22 points and passed 7 assists. He was a key player of MAFC, leading his team to a 111-105 win against the lower-ranked MEAFC (#8, 2-3). MAFC needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 4 victories and 2 lost games. Kovacs has a great season in Hungary. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 6.2apg (4th best).
