Hungarian B Red round 12 best performance: Adam Polgardy (by Hoops Agents)

Shooting guard Adam Polgardy (192-SG-1999) put on an amazing game in the last round for Ujbuda MAFC, receiving a Hoops Agents B Red Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 26-year old player was the main contributor (34 points, five rebounds and eight assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat TF Budapest (#14, 0-12), the league's bottom-ranked team 119-106. Ujbuda MAFC maintains the 4th position in Hungarian B Red. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Ujbuda MAFC will need more victories to improve their 8-4 record. In the team's last game Polgardy had a remarkable 54.5% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He has many years of experience at Ujbuda MAFC, through which he has constantly improved. Adam Polgardy has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (3rd best: 23.6ppg), assists (9th best: 5.5apg) and averages impressive 56.9% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Agoston Meszaros (193-G-2006) of Tiszaujvarosi Termalfurdo Phoenix KK. Meszaros had a very good evening with 29 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Of course he led Tiszaujvaros to another comfortable win 101-86 over TF Budapest (#14, 0-12) being unquestionably team leader. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Tiszaujvaros keeps 13th position. 10 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Tiszaujvaros managed to get this year. Meszaros is a newcomer at Tiszaujvaros, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was international Levente Juhos (205-C/F-1991) of league's top team Phoenix-MT Fot. Juhos scored 18 points and grabbed 14 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Phoenix-MT, leading his team to a 101-71 easy win against the lower-ranked Kaszasok (#11, 5-7). Phoenix-MT confirms their top position in the standings. Juhos has a great season in Hungary. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.4rpg (3rd best). He also has 1.9bpg and a FGP of 60.0%.
