Kasse's double-double lands him NLB Player of the Week award

34-year old Senegalese center Mansour Kasse (208-C-1992) had a great game in the last round for Villars Basket and receives a Hoops Agents NLB Player of the Week award for round 4.
He had a double-double of 26 points and 21 rebounds, while his team lost the game against Meyrin (#7, 3-2) 75-82. Villars moved-up to the 6th position in Swiss NLB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Villars will need to avoid more loses keep or improve their 3-1 record. In the team's last game Kasse had a remarkable 72.7% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Villars, through which he has constantly improved. Kasse has impressive league stats. He leads league in rebounds with 14.3rpg. Kasse is in league's top in and averages solid 2.5spg and 62.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Adam Chabouh (173-G-2005) of Meyrin Basket Geneve. He is a guard in his 4th season at Meyrin. In the last game Chabouh recorded an impressive 33 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course Meyrin cruised to a 82-75 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Villars (#6, 3-1). Meyrin's 7th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 3-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Chabouh is one of the most experienced players at Meyrin and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.3ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 5.0rpg and 4.3apg.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Joao Grosso (196-F-1994) of Morges-Saint-Prex Red Devils (#3). Grosso showcased his all-around game by recording 15 points, 15 rebounds (!!!) and 6 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Red Devils, leading his team to a 86-71 easy win against the lower-ranked Tigers U23 (#13, 1-3). Red Devils is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 4-1 record is not that bad... Grosso has a great season in Switzerland. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 11.2rpg (6th best).
