Tchoua number one in Switzerland SBL for round 7 (by Hoops Agents)

American Center Kendrick Tchoua (201-C-2001) put on an amazing game in the last round for Pully Lausanne Foxes, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 25-year old player had a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds, while his team crushed Lugano (#8, 1-6) with 18-point margin 91-73. Pully maintains the 4th position in Swiss SBL. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Pully will need more victories to improve their 5-2 record. Tchoua turned to be Pully's top player in his first season with the team. Former University of Indianapolis star has very solid stats this year. Tchoua is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 10.7rpg) and averages impressive 68.3% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Zaid Weibel (191-G-2001) of league's leader Lions de Geneve. Weibel had a very good evening with 22 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course he led Geneve to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Starwings (#9, 1-6) 117-55. Of course Geneve still keep the league's top spot. He plays for the best team in the league and Geneve managed to win all 7 games keeping a perfect record. Weibel is a newcomer at Geneve, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Senegalese center Amadou Wade (205-C-2003) of BBC Nyon (#5). Wade scored 21 points and grabbed 15 rebounds (!!!). Despite Wade's great performance the Nyon lost 66-85 to the higher-ranked Fribourg (#2, 6-1). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Nyon needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 4 victories and 3 lost games. Wade has a great season in Switzerland. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.7ppg (4th best) and rebounds with 13.7rpg (#1 in league).
