Everything could happen in Vilnius at the game between two tied teams. Both third ranked Lithuanian Lietuvos rytas and second-best Belgian Oostende had identical 2-3 record. This time Lietuvos rytas used a home court advantage and rolled over the opponent from Oostende 111-83 on Wednesday night. It was a key game for the second position in Group L. The game was mostly controlled by Lietuvos rytas. Oostende was better in third quarter 26-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Lietuvos rytas shot 66.1 percent from the field and made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Lietuvos rytas forced 19 Oostende turnovers. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lietuvos rytas (3-3) moved-up to second place in Group L, which they share with Valencia. Defending Belgian champion Oostende dropped to the third position with four games lost.
