Top 32 Round 3: PAOK - EWE Baskets 68-81

The game was mostly controlled by EWE Baskets. PAOK was better in fourth quarter 23-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. EWE Baskets forced 21 PAOK turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a good game for American center Brian Qvale (210-88, college: Montana, agency: Pensack Sports) who led his team to a victory with 15 points and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import Vaughn Duggins (190-87, college: Wright St.) contributed with 11 points and 7 assists for the winners. Serbian power forward Nikola Markovic (208-89) answered with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds and American point guard Wiliam Hatcher (188-84, college: Miami, OH) added 17 points in the effort for PAOK. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest.
