Qualifying Round Round 2: Szekszard - Brandys 84-55

Szekszard dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Brandys ' 30. Szekszard forced 20 Brandys turnovers and outrebounded them 44-24 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Reka Dombai (179-2002) notched 30 points and 5 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and American forward Liza Karlen (188-2002, college: Notre Dame) supported her with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Even 11 points and 7 rebounds by Croatian center Josipa Pavic (190-1999) did not help to save the game for Brandys . Swingman Sara Liskova (175-2004) added 14 points for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
