The best player for the winners was American swingman Alexis Prince (188-1994, college: Baylor) who scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. British-American power forward Kristine Anigwe (193-1997, college: California) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. Athinaikos' coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American point guard Lindsay Allen (173-1995, college: Notre Dame) produced 20 points and 9 assists and her fellow American import guard Kennedy Burke (185-1997, college: UCLA) added 17 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
