We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 12th rankedArmani Milano (9-10) was defeated on the road by thirteenth ranked Virtus Bologna (9-10) 97-85 on Friday. It was a great evening for American point guard Matt Morgan (188-1997, college: Cornell) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 6 assists. His fellow American import forward Derrick Alston Jr (206-1997, college: Boise St.) helped adding 20 points. Virtus Bologna's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American-Slovenian center Josh Nebo (207-1997, college: Texas A&M) responded with 15 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) and Serbian swingman Marko Guduric (196-1995) scored 11 points and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws). Five Virtus and four Milano players scored in double figures. Defending Italian champion moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Milano and Dubai. Milano lost third consecutive game.
