Very expected game when 20th ranked FrenchASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (7-21) was defeated on the road by third ranked Spanish Valencia (18-10) 82-67 on Thursday. Worth to mention a great performance of Dominican point guard Jean Montero (188-2003) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and Senegalese guard Brancou Badio (191-1999) who added 10 points during the contest. Four Valencia players scored in double figures. At the losing side Edwin Jackson (190-1989) responded with 20 points and Cameroonian power forward Paul Eboua (203-2000) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Valencia maintains third position with 18-10 record having just one point less than leader Fenerbahce. Loser ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket stay at the bottom place with 21 games lost.
