We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 13th ranked ItalianArmani Milano (17-20) was defeated at home by fourteenth ranked German Bayern Muenchen (17-20) 94-84 on Thursday. Bayern looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Andreas Obst (191-1996) stepped up and scored 19 points and 6 assists for the winners and North Macedonian guard Nenad Dimitrijevic (190-1998) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. At the losing side British point guard Quinn Ellis (195-2003) responded with 9 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and Danish Shavon Shields (201-1994, college: Nebraska) scored 14 points and 4 assists. Five Bayern and four Milano players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bayern Muenchen have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending German champion moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Milano. Milano lost third consecutive game.
