Salaun's 24 points and 6 rebounds give him Player of the Week award

Tidjane Salaun

17-year old forward Tidjane Salaun (205-F-2005) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Cholet and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2 of Patras Tournament.
He had the game-high 24 points adding six rebounds for Cholet in his team's victory, helping them to crush Vechta (#3, 1-2) with 22-point margin 78-56. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Cholet maintains the 2nd position in Adidas Next Generation Tournament . They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Cholet will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. It's Salaun's second year at Cholet and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Tidjane Salaun averages just after three games 17.0ppg and 6.3rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Amael L'Etang (214-PF-2005). He is a forward in his first season at Cholet. In the last game L'Etang recorded impressive double-double of 15 points and 13 rebounds. Of course together with Salaun he helped Cholet with another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Vechta (#3, 1-2) 78-56. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Cholet consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. His team's 2-1 record is not bad at all. He was a key player of ASVEL, leading his team to a 74-53 easy win against #4 ranked Olympiacos. ASVEL started extremely well this year. They recorded 3 victories without losing a single game. Muamba turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Muamba has a great season in Adidas Next Generation Tournament. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.7ppg (5th best).
