Johann Gruenloh claims Adidas Next Generation Tournament weekly honour

Talented Johann Gruenloh (210-C-2005) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Vechta and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for Final Round of Patras Tournament.
The 17-year old center had a double-double of 20 points and eighteen rebounds, while his team edged out Bassano (#4, 1-3) 68-64. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Vechta maintains the 3rd position in Adidas Next Generation Tournament . Gruenloh turned to be Vechta's top player in his first season with the team. Gruenloh has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 13.0rpg) and averages solid 6.3bpg and 54.3% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young forward Tidjane Salaun (205-F-2005) of second-ranked Cholet. Salaun impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 31 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he led Cholet to another comfortable win outscoring slightly higher-ranked NGTP (#2, 2-2) 94-64. Salaun is well-known by Cholet fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.5ppg (#2). He also registered 7.5 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Portuguese Ruben Prey (209-F-2005) of top-ranked Joventut. Prey scored 19 points and grabbed fifteen rebounds (!!!). Prey turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Prey has a great season in Adidas Next Generation Tournament. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 13.5rpg (#1 in league).
