Preliminary Round Day 3: ROMANIA - POLAND 62-67

Poland outsmarted Romania today in Tallinn 62-67 for perfect 3-0 record. It means that Poland won Group C and advanced to the Qualifying Round of U16 EuroBasket Division B. They are placed to Group F. At the other side, Romania finished as the last ranked team in this pool and will continue in Classification Round. They will fight for 13th place at this event. Poland had to work very hard to take this victory. Quarters: 15-15, 17-19, 12-15, 18-18. Monika Radomska scored 16 points and Aleksandra Myslinska added 13 points, plus 6 rebounds for the winners. Amalia Rembiszewska collected 11 points and 7 boards from 13 minutes on the court. Mihaela Maxim answered with 17 points and 5 rebs in defeat. Vasilica Cuzic and Paula Lenart (12 rebs) scored 13 and 10 pts respectively. Championship continues on Monday.
