Semi-Finals Game 8: NORWAY - ROMANIA 28-82

Romania avoided last place at U16 EuroBasket Division B in Tallinn. They destroyed Norway today 82-28 to end as the second ranked team of Group G with 2-2 record. It means that Romania finished as No.14 at this event, while Norway will be the last ranked team. Romania already played all of its games in Tallinn. Norway will meet Estonia tomorrow in the last day of the competition. Paula Lenart had monster double-double in victory with 21 points and 19 rebounds (valuation 36!). Kincso Kelemen also scored 21 pts, but to go with 5 rebounds. Third scorer in Romania was Birgitte Steiner with 11 points. In defeat, Martine Landstrom and Nini Skjulhaug scored 6 points each. Romania made 32-point lead at the halftime and all after that was just the formality. Quarters: 9-20, 11-32, 2-22, 6-8.
