Second Stage Day 4: ROMANIA - SWITZERLAND 63-68

Romania lost to Switzerland in Senhora da Hora at the U16 European Championship in Division B. The Swiss side started the Classification Round for 12-14 places with a 68:63 victory. Switzerland posted a 20-12 rally in the first period and added 16-14 run in the second quarter. Romania looked better in the second half and replied with two narrow victories. It was not however enough to win the game. Cretu Andreea reduced to 63:66 with a minute to go, but Tolusso Safie made the final result from the free throw line. Steiner Marie paced all the winners with 15 points and Tolusso Safie collected 14 points and 14 rebounds. Fora Nancy scored 11 and Herminjard Evita added 10. Ferariu Ana and Cretu Andreea replied with 14 points each in defeat. Arsulesei Andreea and Pop Alina followed them with 6 points apiece in a loss.
