England overcame Switzerland in Sarajevo in Day 2 of the U16 European Championship. England improved to 2-0 record after a 59:46 win. It was Switzerland to start better and who took 17:15 lead at the end of the first period. England replied with three narrow victories in the rest of the game and clinched a 13-point win. England won the second period 16-7 and added 10-6 rally in the third period. Moreover they finished the game with 18-16 for the final result. Mitchell Luke led the way with 11 points for the second straight win. Kintu Calvin poured in 9, whilst Wheatle Carl had 7. Polite Anthony collected 13 points and 10 rebounds in defeat and Tukama Christian notched 11. Fragniere Leo produced 6, whilst Burrell Noah added 5.
