Regular Season Round 4: Dijon - AV Cantu 75-66

Everything went according to plan when second ranked French JDA Dijon (3-1) defeated at home bottom-ranked Italian AV Cantu (0-4) 75-66 on Wednesday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. JDA Dijon made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. AV Cantu was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for American point guard Erving Walker (173-90, college: Florida, agency: Two Points) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 7 assists. The other American import forward Zach Moss (201-81, college: Mountain St.) contributed with 13 points for the winners. JDA Dijon's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American point guard Darius Johnson-Odom (187-89, college: Marquette) replied with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American-Hungarian forward Damian Hollis (203-88, college: G.Washington, agency: Two Points) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for AV Cantu. JDA Dijon maintains second position in Group B with 3-1 record behind leader Strasbourg. Loser AV Cantu still closes the standings with four games lost. JDA Dijon will face Artland Dragons in Quakenbrueck in the next round. AV Cantu will play at home against Oostende and hopes to get finally their first victory.
