Very expected game when 6th ranked Italian Trenkwalder RE (2-6) was defeated on the road by first ranked French Strasbourg IG (7-1) 74-66 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 74-66. Strasbourg IG dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Trenkwalder RE's 20. Strasbourg IG had a 28-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. Strasbourg IG have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group A with 7-1 record. Loser Trenkwalder RE stay at the bottom place with six games lost.
