Second Stage Round 2: PGE Turow - Sevilla 87-84

PGE Turow used a home court advantage and edged the opponent from Sevilla 87-84 on Wednesday night. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 87-84. The best player for the winners was power forward Damian Kulig (205-87) who scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. American guard Mardy Collins (198-84, college: Temple) chipped in 16 points. American-Georgian point guard Ben Woodside (180-85, college: N.Dakota St., agency: Priority Sports) produced 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Pierre Oriola (206-92) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five PGE Turow and four Sevilla players scored in double figures. Sevilla's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. PGE Turow will face Oostende at home in the next round. Sevilla will play against Lietuvos rytas in Vilnius and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
