Second Stage Round 3: Brose Bask. - Dijon 81-86

There was a minor upset when German Brose Baskets (1-2) lost to French JDA Dijon (1-2) in Bamberg 81-86 on Wednesday. The guests trailed by 13 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 5 points. JDA Dijon shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 55.6 percentage. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for point guard Erving Walker (173-90, college: Florida, agency: Two Points) who led his team to a victory with 21 points and 9 assists. Steven Gray (196-89, college: Gonzaga) contributed with 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. JDA Dijon's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Ryan Thompson (198-89, college: Rider) answered with 21 points and guard Brad Wanamaker (193-89, college: Pittsburgh) added 19 points in the effort for Brose Baskets. Four JDA Dijon and five Brose Baskets players scored in double figures. JDA Dijon will have a break next round. Brose Baskets will play again on the road against JDA Dijon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
