Second Stage Round 6: Besiktas - Paris-Levallois 71-77

We should not miss a road victory of second ranked French Paris-Levallois (3-3) over one of their biggest challengers Turkish Besiktas (2-4) 77-71. Besiktas were tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. The best player for the winners was American power forward Sharrod Ford (206-82, college: Clemson) who had a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds. The other American import swingman Blake Schilb (201-83, college: Loyola, IL) chipped in 11 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Paris-Levallois' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward JaJuan Johnson (208-89, college: Purdue) who recorded 16 points and 9 rebounds and Australian-Dutch forward Ryan Broekhoff (200-90, college: Valparaiso) added 17 points respectively. Paris-Levallois maintains second position in Group M with 3-3 record behind leader Unics, which they share with Valencia. Besiktas at the other side keep the third place with four games lost.
