Regular Season Round 3: Gran Canaria - Enel Brindisi 103-76
Date: October 27, 2015
Not a big story in a game when Italian Enel Brindisi (0-3) was outscored by Spanish G.Canaria 2014 (3-0) in Las Palmas 103-76 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by G.Canaria 2014. Enel Brindisi was better in second period 22-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. G.Canaria 2014 looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Enel Brindisi's players. It was a good game for Finnish guard Sasu Salin (192-91) who led his team to a victory with 20 points. American swingman Kyle Kuric (193-89, college: Louisville) contributed with 18 points for the winners. American-Jamaican swingman Durand Scott (196-90, college: Miami, FL) answered with 20 points and Cameroonian power forward Kenny Kadji (211-88, college: Miami, FL) added 16 points in the effort for Enel Brindisi. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. G.Canaria 2014 will face ALBA Berlin on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Enel Brindisi will play against EnBW Ludwigsburg (#4) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
