Regular Season Round 4: Buducnost - Unics 73-63
Date: November 4, 2015
We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Podgorica where one of their biggest challengers Russian Unics Kazan (2-2) was defeated by fourth ranked Montenegrin Buducnost (2-2) 73-63 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 73-63. Buducnost looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian power forward Tadija Dragicevic (206-86, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 8 rebounds and Bosnian-Montenegrin swingman Suad Sehovic (196-87) who added 16 points during the contest. At the losing side American-Turkish Keith Langford (193-83, college: Kansas) responded with 21 points and Belarusian center Artsiom Parakhouski (211-87, college: Radford) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending Montenegrin champion moved-up to third place in Group D, which they share with Unics. Buducnost will face bottom-ranked Steaua CSM (#6) in Bucuresti in the next round. Unics Kazan will play at home against the league's leader Trabzonspor and hope to win that game.
