Date: November 10, 2015
Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both second ranked French JSF Nanterre and 4th placed German Telekom Baskets had identical 2-2 record. This time JSF Nanterre used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Bonn 101-78 on Tuesday night. It was a key game for the top position in Group A. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 101-78. The best player for the winners was American point guard T.J. Campbell (175-88, college: Portland) who scored 21 points and 6 assists. His fellow American import Mykal Riley (198-85, college: Alabama) chipped in 16 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Five JSF Nanterre players scored in double figures. Center Dirk Madrich (212-83) produced 16 points and Polish swingman Michal Chylinski (196-86, agency: Interperformances) added 11 points respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. JSF Nanterre (3-2) keeps a position of Group A leader, which they share with Bilbao Basket and Dolomiti En. TR. Loser Telekom Baskets keep the fourth place with three games lost. JSF Nanterre will face league's second-placed Bilbao Basket at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Telekom Baskets will play against EWE Baskets and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
