Regular Season Round 3: Udominate - Orduspor 68-85

Rather expected game in Umea where Swedish Udominate (0-3) was defeated by Turkish Orduspor (2-1) 85-68 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Orduspor. Udominate was better in second period 16-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. Orduspor forced 20 Udominate turnovers. The best player for the winners was American D'Andra Moss (178-88, college: VCU) who scored 20 points and 5 assists. Her fellow American import guard Courtney Vandersloot (173-89, college: Gonzaga) chipped in 17 points, 8 assists and 5 steals. Four Orduspor players scored in double figures. Orduspor's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Italian guard Ilaria Zanoni (180-86) who recorded 15 points and 4 steals and Slovakian center Klaudia Lukacovicova (195-90) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Orduspor will face TTT Riga at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Udominate will play against Dynamo Moscow and hopes to get finally their first victory.
