Regular Season Round 10: ALBA - Enel Brindisi 80-79

Sixth-ranked Italian Enel Brindisi (1-9) gave a tough game to fourth ranked German ALBA Berlin (5-5) on Wednesday. ALBA Berlin managed to secure only one-point victory 80-79. However their fans expected easier game. Enel Brindisi was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 17-15 charge of ALBA Berlin, which allowed them to win the game. They made 32-of-36 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. American point guard Jordan Taylor (187-89, college: Wisconsin, agency: Three Eye Sports) fired 18 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Serbian guard Dragan Milosavljevic (198-89) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws). American guard Adrian Banks (191-86, college: NW Mississippi CC) produced 27 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and his fellow American import point guard Scottie Reynolds (188-87, college: Villanova) added 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Despite that victory ALBA Berlin went down to tenth position (Group B) due to points difference, which they share with AEK Athens and Hapoel J-M. Loser Enel Brindisi dropped to the twelfth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Krasny Oktyabr.
