Regular Season Round 10: Ludwigsburg - Le Mans 90-49
Date: December 16, 2015
Rather predictable result when third ranked German EnBW Ludwigsburg (7-3) smashed at home 5th ranked French Le Mans (3-7) 90-49 on Wednesday. The game without a history. EnBW Ludwigsburg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Le Mans' 20. They outrebounded Le Mans 36-20 including a 26-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. American point guard Mustafa Shakur (192-84, college: Arizona, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 17 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American-German point guard Brad Loesing (182-89, college: Wofford) chipped in 10 points and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side Beninese power forward Mouphtaou Yarou (204-90, college: Villanova) responded with 8 points and 6 rebounds and American point guard Tywain McKee (188-86, college: Coppin St.) scored 7 points and 5 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Despite that victory EnBW Ludwigsburg went down to eighth position (Group B) due to points difference, which they share with Galatasaray. Loser Le Mans dropped to the eleventh place with seven games lost.
