Aris used a home court advantage and rolled over the opponent from Klaipeda 84-58 on Wednesday night. The game was mostly controlled by Aris. Neptunas was better in third quarter 22-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Neptunas to just 5 points in first quarter. Aris dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Neptunas' 24. They outrebounded Neptunas 35-22 including a 27-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Aris especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. American forward Okaro White (206-92, college: Florida St., agency: Comsport) fired 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. His fellow American import guard Jerel McNeal (191-87, college: Marquette) chipped in 18 points. Guard Martynas Mazeika (192-85, agency: Interperformances) produced 11 points and 5 assists and Gilvydas Biruta (203-91, college: Rhode Island) added 11 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
