And finally the game worth to mention about is the one where Spanish Argon Uni Girona (#2) beat German Gruner Stern Keltern (0-1) on the road by 17 points 83-66 on Wednesday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Argon Uni Girona. Gruner Stern Keltern was better in fourth quarter 21-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Argon Uni Girona dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Gruner Stern Keltern's 26. Argon Uni Girona forced 20 Gruner Stern Keltern turnovers and outrebounded them 41-27 including 26 on the defensive glass. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Argon Uni Girona will face Castors Braine at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Gruner Stern Keltern will play against Uniao Sportiva in Ponta Delgada and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
