Regular Season Round 3: PINKK-Pecsi - PEAC-Pecs 66-74

PEAC-Pecs' road win over PINKK-Pecsi 74-66 was very exciting. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 24-15. But PINKK-Pecsi won third quarter 17-9. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. PEAC-Pecs made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 PINKK-Pecsi turnovers. It was a great evening for Serbian point guard Sanja Mandic (178-95, agency: BeoBasket) who led her team to a victory scoring 17 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Dorina Zele (185-92) helped adding 14 points and 4 steals. Four PEAC-Pecs players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Bettina Bozoki (191-89) with 16 points and 5 rebounds and Serbian power forward Nevena Markovic (193-93, college: IUPUI) scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. PINKK-Pecsi's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. PEAC-Pecs will face MBA in Moscow in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. PINKK-Pecsi will play at home against Abdullah Gul and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
