Regular Season Round 3: Ragusa - Nymburk 50-52

Czech Basketball Nymburk (2-1) edged on the road Italian Ragusa (2-1) 52-50 on Wednesday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 20-13. But Ragusa won second period 12-6. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for Romania Sonia Ursu (176-93) who led her team to a victory scoring 11 points and 6 rebounds. Ukrainian center Taisia Udodenko (190-89) helped adding 10 points and 7 rebounds. Basketball Nymburk's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was Senegalese-Spanish center Astou Ndour (198-94, agency: Josep and Nicolas) with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and Belgian point guard Julie Vanloo (172-93) scored 7 points and 8 assists. Basketball Nymburk will face Nantes Reze at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ragusa will play against Belfius Namur and hope to win that game.
