Regular Season Round 10: Valencia - Lokomotiv 78-77

Fourth-ranked Russian Lokomotiv (3-5) made lots of trouble for first ranked Spanish Valencia Basket (7-1) on Wednesday. Valencia Basket managed to secure only one-point victory 78-77. However their fans expected easier game. Lokomotiv was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 5-point lead after three quarters before a 25-19 charge of Valencia Basket, which allowed them to win the game. Montenegrin Bojan Dubljevic (205-91, agency: BeoBasket) fired 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. French point guard Antoine Diot (193-89) chipped in 11 points and 5 assists. Four Valencia Basket players scored in double figures. Valencia Basket's coach used entire bench in such tough game. American forward Kevin Jones (206-89, college: W.Virginia) produced 19 points and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Mardy Collins (198-84, college: Temple) added 12 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Valencia Basket have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group D with 7-1 record. Lokomotiv at the other side keeps the fourth place with five games lost.
