The most exciting game of round 6 in the Eurocup took place in Vilnius. This game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of second-best Russian Zenit (3-3) to third ranked Lithuanian Lietuvos rytas (3-3) 86-84 in the game for the second place. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 28-21 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. 28 personal fouls committed by Zenit helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American-Polish guard David Logan (185-82, college: Indianapolis) who led his team to a victory with 28 points, 7 assists and 5 steals. American forward Drew Gordon (205-90, college: N.Mexico) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Five Lietuvos rytas players scored in double figures. Sergey Karasev (201-93, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) replied with 24 points and 6 rebounds and Latvian Janis Timma (201-92) added 21 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Zenit. Zenit's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Lietuvos rytas moved-up to second place in Group G, which they share with Unicaja.
