And finally the game worth to mention about is the one where Polish Artego Bydg. (#2) beat Russian MBA (0-1) on the road by 17 points 87-70 on Thursday evening. The game without a history. Artego Bydg. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Artego Bydg. forced 19 MBA turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Artego Bydg. especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. American forward Denesha Stallworth (191-92, college: Kentucky, agency: LBM Management) fired 24 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American-Polish point guard Julie McBride (163-82, college: Syracuse) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists. Four Artego Bydg. players scored in double figures. Point guard Karina Nizamova (170-92) produced 11 points and center Olga Gorbacheva (192-88, agency: LBM Management) added 12 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side. MBA's coach rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Artego Bydg. will face Udominate in Umea in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. MBA will play at home against Spartak Vidnoye and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
