Regular Season Round 3: Nymburk - Ragusa 58-74

There was no surprise when Czech Basketball Nymburk (0-3) was defeated at home by Italian Ragusa (3-0) 74-58 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Ragusa. Basketball Nymburk was better in second period 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for American forward Dearica Hamby (190-93, college: Wake Forest, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds. Her fellow American import forward Jessica Kuster (188-92, college: Rice) helped adding 7 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was American swingman Krystal Vaughn (185-86, college: VCU) with 24 points and Belgian center Kyara Linskens (189-96, agency: LBM Management) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks. Basketball Nymburk's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Ragusa will face Atomeromu in Szekszard in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Basketball Nymburk will play at home against GDESSA and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
