Regular Season Round 4: Limoges - Partizan NIS 92-83

Date: October 31, 2017
Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both third ranked French Limoges CSP Elite and 6th ranked Serbian Partizan had identical 1-2 record. This time Limoges CSP Elite used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Beograd 92-83 on Tuesday night. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Partizan won third quarter 27-24. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Limoges CSP Elite made 18-of-18 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Axel Bouteille (200-95) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 5 rebounds and center Mouhammadou Jaiteh (208-94) who added 18 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American point guard Patrick Miller (185-92, college: Tennessee St.) responded with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import guard Nigel Williams-Goss (191-94, college: Gonzaga) scored 14 points and 8 assists. Four Partizan players scored in double figures. Partizan's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Limoges CSP Elite maintains third position in Group C with 2-2 record having just two points less than leader Darussafaka. Loser Partizan keeps the sixth place with three games lost. Limoges CSP Elite will face bottom-ranked Lietuvos rytas (#5) in Vilnius in the next round. Partizan will play at home against the league's leader Lokomotiv and hope to win that game.
