No shocking result in a game in Barreiro where second ranked Hungarian Atomeromu (4-2) won against 4th ranked Portuguese GDESSA (1-5) 70-56 on Wednesday. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Atomeromu's pressure prevailed and they won that period 26-14 extending their advantage to 14 points. Slovenian point guard Teja Oblak (172-90) scored 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Erica McCall (190-95, college: Stanford, agency: ProDep Management) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Atomeromu's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was American forward Ashli Payne (183-95, college: E.Washington, agency: Gamble Sports Management) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and Marcia Costa (173-89) scored 16 points and 5 steals.
