Regular Season Round 2: Andorra - Germani BR 110-91

Andorra used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Brescia 110-91 on Wednesday night. The game without a history. Andorra led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Germani BR's 32 and made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game. Andorra looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Germani BR was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Reggie Upshaw (203-95, college: Middle Tenn.St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 29 points and 5 rebounds. Czech swingman David Jelinek (195-90, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 20 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. American forward Jordan Hamilton (201-90, college: Texas) replied with 15 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Bryon Allen (193-92, college: George Mason) added 20 points in the effort for Germani BR. Four Andorra and five Germani BR players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Andorra will face Crvena Zvezda in Beograd in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Germani BR will play on the road against Galatasaray (#3) in Istanbul and hope to win that game.
