Regular Season Round 4: ALBA - Asseco Arka 82-68

Rather expected game when bottom-ranked Polish Asseco Arka (0-4) was defeated on the road by third ranked German ALBA Berlin (3-1) 82-68 on Tuesday. ALBA Berlin looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American point guard Peyton Siva (183-90, college: Louisville) fired 27 points and 8 assists for the winners. Icelandic guard Martin Hermannsson (191-94, college: LIU Brooklyn) chipped in 16 points. American swingman Josh Bostic (196-87, college: Findlay, OH) produced 18 points and guard Marcel Ponitka (195-97) added 13 points and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. ALBA Berlin moved-up to second place in Group B. Loser Asseco Arka still closes the standings with four games lost. ALBA Berlin will face league's leader Lokomotiv in Krasnodar in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Asseco Arka will play at home against Limoges CSP Elite (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
